Email discussion lists are communication tools used by AAACN's special interest groups (SIGs) and for other specific discussions. An email discussion list's goal is to provide networking and resource information that may help you with your day-to-day practice and management.

Wanted: Task Force Volunteers

The American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) and the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board (MSNCB) are collaborating on the development of a Care Coordination and Transition Management (CCTM) certification exam for registered nurses. The first step in developing the exam is to assemble a task force of nurses who represent both acute and ambulatory care nursing, and who have been functioning in a Care Coordination and/or Transition Management role. In conjunction with this first step, we are also seeking volunteers to develop a Scope and Standards of Practice for Registered Nurse Care Coordination and Transition Management (CCTM) (July 31, 2014, 11:59:59 PM, is the last day to apply).

The AAACN Leadership Toolkit

The Leadership Toolkit is an ever growing document maintained by the AAACN Leadership SIG. It is composed of a main introduction document which explains the foundation tools that are the basis of the Leadership Toolkit: The ACHE Leadership Competency standards, the AONE Leadership Competency standards, and the QSEN.
