NYU Langone Health LNG Meeting - October 3, 2019

The nursing leadership at NYU Langone Health has collaborated with the Nursing Leadership at the Mt. Sinai Health System to develop an informal networking group within (AAACN) American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing. The discussions have led to the realization that networking with colleagues across the nation would be beneficial.

AAACN is the association of professional nurses who identify ambulatory care practices as essential to the continuum of high quality and cost effective health care. AAACN is an excellent vehicle to share new practice information, research, and evidence based care. With the shift of healthcare and the drive with professional Nursing in the ambulatory care setting, the northeast region would benefit from establishing an AAACN chapter. Collectively alignment with other NYC healthcare institutions will allow for cross dissemination of ambulatory concepts in the development of structures.

We would like to request for other members within the Northeast to join us in this initiative, in changing the face of ambulatory care nursing.

Our informal networking group meets the first Thursday of every month from 3:30pm-4:30pm.

The location of the meeting is:
NYU Langone Health- Langone Orthopedic Hospital.
301 E17th Street, NY NY 10003.
(A WebEx will be provided for scheduling and location convenience).

This is an exciting time for the world of ambulatory care nursing and we are grateful for your participation.
