Volunteer for VA SIG Chair-Elect [1]

If you’re a member of AAACN with leadership skills and you specialize in caring for America’s Veterans, we invite you to volunteer to lead your colleagues who participate in the Veterans Affairs (VA) Special Interest Group.

Serving as Chair-Elect is a time commitment that involves leading others, setting goals, and achieving those goals. All commitments require your personal time, and work is accomplished via email and conference calls.

Responsibilities also include mentoring the next Chair-Elect, attending the 2020-2021 conferences, facilitating the VA SIG Session at the 2021 Annual Conference, and playing an active role in the VA SIG’s Connected Community [2].
