The Nursing Community Coalition (NCC), of which AAACN is a member, applauds the U.S. House of Representatives for passing the Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development Act of 2019 (H.R. 728).
This bipartisan legislation would help to ensure a robust and diverse nursing pipeline, especially in rural and underserved areas,by reauthorizing the Nursing Workforce Development Programs (authorized under Title VIII of the Public Health Service Act [42 U.S.C. 296 et. seq]).
