Ambulatory Focused Preceptor Program CD-ROM Now Available

Forty-six nurses from nine sites across the country dialed in to the audio seminar "Developing an Ambulatory Specific Preceptor Program: A Success Story" offered live on October 1. These nurses learned how an inpatient focused preceptor program was modified to meet the specific needs and goals for ambulatory clinics of a major health care system for both main campus and regional medical practice specialty clinics. NurseZone.com interviewed member Carol Rutenberg, RNC-BC, MNSc, about AAACN's support of the Nurse Licensure Compact. Carol served as chair of AAACN's Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Position Statement Task Force which recently completed AAACN's position statement on the NLC.
