Local Networking Groups (LNGs) are a great way to network and join forces with local ambulatory care nurses through virtual and in-person meetings.

  • LNGs provide education, professional support and information, and can be a unique way to make a difference at the local level.

  • Discuss local issues, share best practices, and establish your own unique goals for your group.

How LNG's Work

The Chair must be a member of AAACN.

The Chair serves as the official spokesperson for their LNG, keeps records of meetings, and maintains communication with the National Office.

The Chair invites local members to the LNG meetings (virtual or in-person) via the Open Forum (and other online communities) and AAACN Member Directory.

What to Expect

You do not need to be a AAACN member to participate!

The Group decides on the frequency and type of meetings, which can include educational sessions, networking events, or listening to and discussion of an audio-conference, either in person or virtually.

The National Office posts events/meetings on the AAACN Website.
