Eligibility Requirements 

Before applying, please review the eligibility requirements to help ensure a successful and rewarding experience for both mentees and mentors.

 

Mentor

  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
  • At least 2 years in any ambulatory care nursing role
  • Active member of AAACN
  • Practice level of Competent, Proficient, or Expert (Benner's Novice to Expert Theory)
  • Able to commit to one hour per month
  • Willing to participate in one meeting per month

Mentee 

  • Active member of AAACN
  • Self-identify as an ambulatory care nurse
  • Able to commit to one hour per month
  • Willing to participate in one meeting per month

Timeline 

  • Application Period: May 20, 2025 - June 20th, 2025 
  • Match Announcement: July 2025 
  • Program Start Date: August 2025 
  • Program End Date: April 2026
