A recent HIMSS Analytics survey of 626 nurses revealed that 71% prefer EHRs to paper records, almost all respondents noting that EHRs provide more inclusive patient information.
72% agree that EHRs lower the risk of medication errors, 43% stated that EHRs reduced duplicate work, and 33% found that they are able to spend more time with patients when using EHRs.
