Are you interested in running for a position of Director on AAACN's Board of Directors or as a Member of the Nominating Committee?
The Nominating Committee is seeking dedicated individuals to join AAACN’s Board of Directors and help drive the association’s mission, vision, and strategic plan forward. They are also looking for qualified members to serve on the Nominating Committee, which plays a key role in selecting future leaders.
- Director (Two Positions Available): Serves a three-year term, guiding the association through strategic initiatives, innovative programs, and member empowerment to foster growth and success.
- Nominating Committee Member (Two Positions Available): Serves a two-year term, responsible for identifying, recruiting, and nominating eligible candidates for elected positions, as well as overseeing the annual election and awards and scholarships process.
Timeline for Applicants
- Applications are due by Monday, June 1
- June - Nominating Committee members will review the applications
- July - Applicants will be contacted with results and receive the next steps for the election
- October - Meet the Candidates video for members to view
- November 1 - Election begins through Dec 6
- Mid December - Candidates are contacted with election results
