Las Vegas Conference News

IMPORTANT Changes to Conference Dates

The Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification Review Course has been moved from a pre-conference session to a post-conference session in 2010. Since the ANCC Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification Exam is no longer being offered at the close of the conference, we are moving the review course to the end of the conference. This change returns the course to the day we've held it prior to offering the exam, which means the course will no longer conflict with other important events on Monday, May 3.

Bi-partisan legislators are also doing their part by addressing obstacles to widespread adoption, such as easing restrictions on funding for telehealth programs in rural areas. As of now, only about 20% of the nation's Medicare beneficiaries have access to telehealth; if passed, the Medicare Telehealth Enhancement Act introduced earlier this year promises to greatly expand telehealth programs.
