The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Board Certification (COC) has updated many of its specialty nursing credential acronyms to better reflect and distinguish each unique specialty practice.
For ambulatory care, AMB-BC will replace the RN-BC credential, in distinctive recognition of the ambulatory care nursing certification.
